Following are the Guidelines for Treatment Chart

AGE GROUP

  • (Since Menarche 12-17 years) – Hormone supplements and supplements for improving general health, focusing on treating Anemia.
  • 18 years plus age group, also called as reproductive age group – Diagnostic endoscopy and Non interventional procedures such as Ultrasound, will decide the treatment further according to the pathology found such as fibroids, polyps, Adenomyosis, Endometriosis etc which can be cleared off by Day care endoscopic procedures such as Diagnostic & Operative Gynaecological Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy.
  • Age group 30 years+ and if reproductive function has been completed, treatment will aim at SAVING THE UTERUS, and disabling the function of uterus by removing the Disease or Pathology diagnosed by day care endoscopic procedures through Laparoscopy or Hysteroscopy such as HYSTEROSCOPIC TCRE, ROLLERBALL ABLATION, LAPAROSCOPIC OR HYSTEROSCOPIC MYOMECTOMY or ADENOMYOMECTOMY, POLYPECTOMY etc.
  • Older age groups above 40 years with impending risk of cancer or when they are diagnosed to have malignant pathology the treatment options will narrow down to HYSTERECTOMY- LAPAROSCOPICALLY or VAGINALLY according to staging of the disease.

ALL THE ABOVE TREATMENTS WILL BE DONE AFTER NECESSARY INVESTIGATIONS AND CONFIRMATION WITH PATHOLOGY REPORTS ACCORDINGLY.
