Blastocyst Transfer

Blastocyst Transfer

What are blastocyst and blastocyst transfer?

A blastocyst is a human embryo that’s five or six days old. The embryos are developed in an incubator till day five, i.e. the blastocyst stage, and this process of transferring such developed embryos into the woman’s uterus, is known as blastocyst transfer. This is the next step for follicular aspiration. This process is carried out by in vitro fertilization (IVF) or Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). The success rate in pregnancy is high with blastocyst culture. And this is a safer and much more efficient procedure compared to other procedures.

At Rhea IVF and Women’s Hospital, under the guidance of our expert surgeon, DR.K. Shanmugavadivu, we are keenly interested in enhancing the lives of our patients with every method possible. We fight infertility with technology and innovation. We use advanced methodology and highly advanced technology that is effective in diagnosing and treating various gynaecological conditions.
